Is the Number of Images a Google Ranking Factor?

Most of the emails that I get too often on the lead SEO newsletters is about: AI.

I understand that AI is a hot topic right now, however, I really think that you should not jump on the trend but master the basics.

How are you going to get into AI overviews when your page does not even rank on Top 10?

Most of these SEO newsletters should talk about what’s hot, but they are really never going to get into the “old” things like, is the number of images a google Ranking Factor?

In my opinion, if you want to be on what’s hot like AI, you should master the basics, and for me is in the organic rankings.

I don’t see any use on trying to show on AI overviews when I don’t even know how to rank on Top 3 of Google!

And those are the things that I have been learning over the past 6 years.

Google algorithm

Most of my sites got hit by the last Google updates, so, my revenue.

So, I really need to recover my rankings or I’m going on starvation mode, and as you know, that’s isn’t even possible.

I have a friend who I share everything that I discover about SEO and he always say: “I don’t think so”

Well… You get to a point where you can no longer play in the opinion on your friends or you are going to get no where.

In the last couple of weeks I have been going deeper into the tunings of my pages, and one of the rankings factors that pops up is the number of images on a page.

Keywords are not a ranking factor anymore…

At this time of my SEO career I have to say I don’t take a word from anybody, I need to test myself if it works or not.

As I always say, I prefer to be wrong but in my own opinion that being right on the opinions of others.

I know you are going to say this is dummy because you should be on the shoulders of the Giants, but in business, as Buffet says, if you don’t see the dummy you are the dummy!

and, in the SEO industry everything of what you read is:

  • from SEO writers who are good about writing but don’t know about how the Google algorithm works
  • from SEO gurus who makes money on newsletters or conferences but not ranking websites
  • from a really SEO expert who do not want you to know what really works
